An independent ombuds provides a confidential, informal place where people can raise concerns, explore options, and think through difficult situations. Working outside your formal reporting lines allows people to speak candidly while giving organizations a broader, more informed view of concerns and patterns that may otherwise go unnoticed.

As an independent ombuds, my role is to listen, help explore options, identify patterns and support constructive ways forward.

Ombuds consulting can include:

✔ Identifying the patterns and systemic issues behind repeated conflicts, concerns, or complaints

✔ Coaching leaders and managers on navigating difficult situations and conversations

✔ Facilitating conversations between individuals or groups

✔ Practical recommendations to strengthen communication, fairness, and trust

I have particular experience in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, government, and education settings, and a special interest in mission-driven organizations.
